Tamiya's cutting accessory with a retractable blade is designed for scribing lines onto plastic scale models. But it is also the ideal tool for cutting acrylic & plastic sheet material. Using the edge of a ruler a gentle line can be scribed repeatedly into the material until a groove is formed halfway. Once this is done the board can be bent outwards which should result in a clean break. If needed the back of the blade can be used to clean off the edge. Two spare blades are supplied with this Tamiya tool. Made in Japan.
